Ethan Shepherd, restoration Technician

Ethan graduated from Liberty University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoo and Wildlife Biology. After graduating, he worked with The Nature Conservancy’s Missouri chapter as a Prescribed Fire Technician focusing on prairie habitat management. From there, he was employed by The Orianne Society as a Prescribed Fire Technician managing longleaf pine habitat for gopher tortoises and eastern indigo snakes. He is now with the Southeastern Grasslands Institute pursuing his interest in native grassland restoration and management.
