Cody Gallivan, Seasonal restoration Technician

Cody is a field technician with the Southeastern Grasslands Institute, dedicated to restoring native grasslands and strengthening ecological resilience across the southeast. Drawing on years of varied outdoor experience in the wild and mechanical/technical aptitude and a passion for conservation, he contributes to field surveys, restoration and ecological monitoring, and hands-on habitat management. He is driven by a deep commitment to protecting the landscapes that define Tennessee and the greater region. As a lifelong Tennessean this mission is very personal and important with a strong connection to the region’s natural heritage.
